The number of available scholarships is typically 4 to 5 full scholarships awarded per men's team, while women's teams have 8 full scholarships.
With approximately 20 hours of tennis and physical training per week, the major season takes place during the spring semester, from January to May. Teams compete in matches aiming to win the Conference Championship and then the more prestigious National Championship title at the end of the season. The fall semester, which runs from August to early October, marks a break in team tournaments and gives way to individual competitions.
