AMERICAN FOOTBALL
American football, an iconic sport in the United States, offers scholarship opportunities at nearly 890 universities across the country. The number of scholarships varies by division, ranging from 24 to 85 scholarships.
The daily life of Division 1 football players demands total commitment. Athletes wake up early, between 5 and 7 AM, for strength training and conditioning sessions before classes. Their schedule includes intensive training, video analysis, and tactical preparation sessions.
The season, running from late summer to late fall, includes preparation games, conference competitions, and playoff opportunities. Spring is dedicated to individual player development.
Even during the off-season, there is no complete break. Most football players stay on campus, take summer classes, train, and participate in 7-on-7 format games to maintain their physical fitness.
