SWIMMING
College swimming in the United States represents an invaluable opportunity for many talented swimmers aspiring to shine on the international stage, following in the footsteps of renowned athletes such as Ryan Lochte and Katie Ledecky.
The daily routine of college swimmers begins very early in the morning, well before classes start. Morning training sessions are followed by a second session in the afternoon. The college swimming season runs from September to March, culminating in conference championships and national championships.
Opportunities abound for college swimmers, with more than 650 universities offering women's swimming teams and over 500 offering men's teams. The number of scholarships varies by division, ranging from 8 to 15 scholarships.
